Announcement

I just got back from my vacation in Osoyoos. It was a lot of fun! It was nice to have four days off with nothing to do. It was a nice change to my hectic life. The best part was that we got to go boating (kneeboarding and tubing) and Sea-Dooing. Also, I managed to get a lot of reading done. Anyways, when I got back home, I found a pile of work for me to do. I have to go back to work tomorrow plus I have contracting work to do (TrendHunter Facebook Application). On top of that, I found I have stiff competition for myBlog (my Facebook application) which is called Flog. This will require me to do some serious upgrades to my current system.

Gas prices are finally coming down. On the way to work, I found a gas station that was selling gas for 99.9. (That doesn’t include the 3 cents you save at the pump.) I never thought I would see the gas price fall until September. I don’t understand how they decide what price to sell gas at. It seems to follow no rhyme or reason.

I am starting to read a lot more blogs lately. Instead of spamming my blog every time I find something interesting I am starting a list of interesting blog posts. This was created with Google RSS Reader. If you don’t know what that is, look it up in wikipedia.

My brother graduated last Tuesday! He just completed a Combined Major in Physics and BioChemistry with distinctions at the University of Victoria. I was lucky enough to get time off work so that I could celebrate with him and our family. It was a lot of fun. Now he just needs to get a job. ick!

I have developed a informational site for Provident Resources which is based in Cranbrook. The company holds a bunch of mining claims around Cranbrook. They are currently exporting slate which is used for landscaping. A friend of mine owns the company… so check it out.
