WordPress Just Made Millions of Blogs Real-Time With RSSCloud (Hacker News)
This is awesome. This is a problem I encounter all the time with Simplaris Blogcast. I have a timed process which checks blogs every day for updates. This means that it could take a day for Simplaris Blogcast to update a user’s profile. This is very much less than ideal. Simplaris Blogcast offers a ping service which speeds up the process to real-time. However, this is usually beyond the technical ability of most users.
